I grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to a variety of musical instruments at a young age. My love for music led me to take up the cello, and I have been playing and singing ever since. Over many years of studying practicing, and performing, I have developed an incredible ear for harmony and improvisation, I've honed my technical skills-such as music theory, sight-singing, and language diction, and I've gathered a vast collection of tools and tricks to unlock the voice
My Musical education began at home and was quickly supplemented by Carman Gorak Larson of Homeschool Strings Orhchestra. In addition to teaching me everything I know about how to play the cello, Mrs. Gorak Larson taught me how to REALLY practice an instrument.

The next turn of my path took me to Edmonds College where I studied with Mr. John Sanders and Mr. Kirk Marcy, both of whom were largly influential on who I am as a musician today. During my time at Edmonds College I sang in the Symphonic Choir and the popular jazz ensemble Soundsation! It was here that I earned my Associates Degree in Music.
More recently, I had the honor of studying with Dr. Lee Whittington-Ousley and Mr. Ricard Bordas in Charleston, South Carolina. Both of these outstanding musicians helped me unlock power in my own voice that I had struggled to tap into. It is their wisdom that gives me the tools I use to unlock strength and hone technique in my own students. During this time I also earned my Bachelors Degree in Music Education With a Vocal Emphasis.
I have a variety of performance experience that include grand performances with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and Seattle Symphony, smaller productions with an American roots band (even one show, played from the roof of an art gallery!)

Lately, as an attempt to continue my own education and learn, I have taken to trying out for local theatre. I have found such joy in this avenue of music and I am grateful to all the people I've met along the way who helped create that joy.
My latest role was Lucy Van Pelt in Ovation Performing Arts' production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and I'm excited to announce that my next role will be Mrs. Shingle in Port Gamble Theatre's production of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder.
